Safety is of the utmost importance when working with DIY or woodworking power tools, so I decided to make this push stick to work safely in the table saw.
This is the 3D SketchUp file included in the free plans that you’ll find on this website. As you can see, it is an ergonomic, easy to make design, using a few pieces of plywood.
Push Stick Plans
As always, I’ll start printing the template. Then I glue it on the plywood sheet.
Cut the base in the Portable Workshop.
And the curved parts on the portable scroll saw.
Mark and cut both parts for the handle to make the grip thicker. Cut and glue them.
Once the glue is dry sand it using the belt sander table.
Round the edges to give it ergonomic shape.
Sand it.
And varnish it as always.
Now it is dry, we can try it.

Nice idea to bulk out the handle. On my list to do here so appreciate the motivation!
thanks!
That’s a nice gun grip look alike. You can use it for a car gear shifter, it looks a lot like one of the Hurst model.
you’re right! thank you
