I'm gathering building materials for the table saw project and am having an issue finding the correct thickness of plywood. In the US we have 1", 3/4", 5/8", 1/2" and 1/4" thicknesses. Which thicknesses should I choose when matching up with the 20mm, 18mm, 10mm and 9mm on the plans? And how will this change the cut dimensions?

hi Cody,
Is a common problem due to the change of thicknesses of the plywood sheets, sorry about that. I would use the 3/4 one for all parts except for 9mm.
For the 9mm parts you can use the 1/2 one, if you don't find anything more similar...
On the lid you're hardly going to have to vary the measurements, you will have to vary the height of the piece number 22(fence) due to the change of thickness.
On the cabinet you will not notice many changes... the parts with more problems are the small ones, such as the router holder. You'll have to check everything before cutting.

Thank you, this helps a lot. And just in time, as I picked up the plywood today. Excited to get started on this project!

How did this go for Cody?

Does anyone have a list of cuts affected by the conversion to 3/4" and 1/2" plywood?
