Absolutely love this look... and would like to create something similar. I'm new to woodworking, so maybe I'm being overly ambitious. What type of ply have you used for the frame and what wood for the worktop?

Hello there. Sorry for long time answer. I'm used two types of plywood: Baltic Birch plywood for the frame (white color painted), ceiba plywood fro cabinets and drawers. The table top is made of ash.

Looks fantastic. It's an old post I know, but do your clamps fit through the dog holes given the thickness of the top?
Also, that's a big surface area.....must be tricky retrieving small things that fall into the holes....or you are skilled at avoiding that from happening! Even on my smaller version I have to be super careful
