Rotary Tool Workstation by Peter Martin

great rotary tool workstation made by Peter Martin, he wrote me:

Hi Suso
Well I've pretty much finished - photo attached.
I'm very impressed with the design although it was quite a challenge for my skill level. Still, it works almost as it should!
I struggled to ensure sufficiently correct alignment everywhere so there was a bit of undoing and re-doing. I think I should have made a prototype because I'm sure if I made another one it would be better 😀

Some differences:
My Dremel is an awkward shape so to ensure correct alignment I used foam on the cradles to get a firm fitting
I made some 5-pointed star knobs for the lift locking mechanism which I was quite pleased with
My wheel for the lift mechanism doesn't sit flat - I may remake this, possibly with a slot to allow using a drill for rapid raising and lowering
I never did find suitable springs - the ones I've used are a bit too strong but I can change them as I've left the rods removable.
All in all I'm pleased with the result and very impressed with the design. Thank you so much for making it available. I know it will have been a lot of work to do that.
My next project is going to be making your modular workbench.....

Kind regards,
Peter Martin
