MaX's Portable Workshop

Post by MaX5LB » Wed Feb 01, 2017 9:40 pm

Hello Suso, thanks to your projects I started my first works by learning from your videos. For this project it was used plywood okumè 10 mm. and 19 mm. Unfortunately in Genoa and province have failed to find the birch.
Eternal gratitude for the passion that you convey to me. Thanks to Thomas Arndt who provided the link to find the INCRA miter.

Wow, that's an amazing job! congratulation Max...
And it looks like the okumen plywood board will work, I guess it's lighter but It will not be a problem.
I hope you take advantage of your Portable Workshop, do not stop sharing your projects in this thread!

regards,
Suso

Add two accessories. It remains for me to do the Portable Scroll Saw but I can not find the metal spring number 23. Where did you exactly?

perfect!
have you tried the box joint jig?
regarding the spring, in your country may have another name.
You should go to a mechanical parts store - industry replacements and ask about a spring with the same cylindrical section.
Here you can find more info:
let me know if you still have problems.

Meanwhile I'm waiting for the spring to scroll saw from ebay (china)
The first attempt with vanel ended with the refund from paypal. No response from the company.

Finally the spring came:

I could not find a fairly wide blade so I made it manually using a file and copying the graft by overlaying an original blade:

Suso, I found the birch plywood. Finally, for the next projects I will use it.

Greetings to everyone
