Springs / Muelles

Springs aren't easy to find, but we can make this process easier if we know where to look and how to tell them apart. They're usually sold by the meter in dispensers such as the one in the picture above in some hardware stores, in large DIY stores or in industrial and agricultural replacement parts stores. You will most often find them in industrial and agricultural replacement parts stores. Many hardware stores don't carry them. In the dispenser they are sorted by number.
Apart from the specifications of the spring itself, such as its thickness or length, they usually come with a reference number which is used in the plans. You likely won't need a whole meter, but it's a fairly cheap component which will definitely come in handy on other projects. I recommend looking in a phonebook and calling stores in your area to see if they have springs. You can also find them online, in boxes, but in this case it's harder to find the exact spring you need.
Another important point is the hardness of the spring, typically expressed as N/mm, but I don't usually include this information in the plans. If you follow the specifications I attach to the files about the spring itself, this shouldn't be a problem. Hardness will barely change even if the type of metal used to manufacture it is different. Whether you're going to order custom springs or buy them at a store, you only need to show them the measurements included the plans.

Los muelles o resortes no son fáciles de encontrar, pero podemos facilitar el proceso si sabemos donde mirar y cómo diferenciarlos. Suelen encontrarse por metro colgados en surtidores como el de la imagen superior, en algunas ferreterías, en grandes almacenes de bricolaje o en tiendas de repuestos industriales y agrícolas. Lo más fácil es encontrarlos en las tiendas de repuestos industriales y agrícolas, en muchas ferreterías no los tienen. En el surtidor están organizados por número.
Además de las especificaciones del propio muelle como el grosor del metal o largo del muelle, suelo incluir el número de referencia del muelle usado en los planos. Seguro que no vas a necesitar todo el metro de muelle, pero es un herraje bastante barato y seguro que te será útil para otros proyectos. Te aconsejo abrir un listín telefónico o buscar teléfonos de tiendas de este tipo cercanas a tu domicilio y llamar para preguntar si tiene muelles. También pueden encontrarse en tiendas online, en un surtido en cajas o sueltos, aunque en este caso en más difícil encontrar justo el muelle necesario.
Otro dato a tener en cuenta en la dureza del propio muelle expresada habitualmente en N/mm aunque no suelo incluir esta información en los planos. Si te guías por las especificaciones que adjunto en los planos del propio muelle esto no debería ser un problema, la dureza apenas va a cambiar aunque cambie el tipo de metal utilizado para la fabricación del muelle. Si vas a encargar a medida o comprar los muelles en cualquier tienda, bastará con que les muestres las medidas que adjunto en los planos.
