I install a single-stage 1HP motor with 1500 Rpm and 0.75Kw in my Homemade Lathe & Disc Sander and my Band Saw. For the band saw is important to use a soft starter motor, the band saw should start slowly and take inertia. Otherwise you can break the pulleys or the screw pin that holds them to the shaft.
He instalado un motor de 1500 Rpm y 0.75Kw en mi Torno y estación de lijado y mi Sierra de Cinta. Para la sierra de cinta es importante usar un motor de arranque suave, la sierra debe arrancar despacio e ir cogiendo inercia. De otro modo puedes romper las poleas o el pasador que las sujeta al eje.
