Hello Suso,

Thank you for this post!

I am planning my materials orders for the 3D router. I am wondering if you find it necessary to use Baltic Birch plywood, rather than a hardwood-veneer plywood? For example, I can easily find birch plywood with poplar veneers -- do you think that is sufficient?

Regards,

Drummond Fudge

hi Simon,
to use my plans you will need several programs,

A decompressor to unzip the file
Adobe acrobat to open the Pdf files
SketchUp to open the 3D model
Maxcut to open the cutting diagrams(not works with Mac)
A photo viewer.
Here you will find more information:

Hi,

I have difficulties finding decent Birch Plywood. Unbelievavle, I know... (I live in United Kingdom, on the outskirts of London).
Tried the usual suspects (B&Q, Wickes, Homebase). Sometimes, I find Birch Plywood but only with 4-6 layers, which is not very stable, and bad for putting screws in.
Even jewson.co.uk said they can only supply birch plywood if I take an entire pallette (50 sheets!!!)

Does it have to be birch plywood? Or would this one here also be a good option, with enough precision for example for the saw & router table?

Thank you!

Bom dia,

Looking at your informative and very well made videos I notice the perfect quality of your plywood. What grade do you use, so far I can only find B/BB online (in the Netherlands) and it costs a fortune (about €125) ?
I will have a hard time finding quality wood here (Algarve, Portugal), I have yet to find a place in Portugal that sells proper wood that isn´t twisted, bend or otherwise not very useful.

I can´t wait to start on several of your projects, but unfortunately I have to wait until my new workspace is available, somewhere in spring 2018. Until then I will keep following your videos and website.

Hi Andre!
I usually use the BB quality, here in Spain is very easy to find. Here you can find a small description.

Have you tried here?
