I've edited this clip to show you how to use the homemade tilting router lift. The system allows me to lift and lower the router thanks to a threaded rod. I can also tilt the router to get the most out of my bits.

Here you can see how quick and easy it is to change a bit in the Portable Workshop's router table after the latest modifications I've made to the lift system.

The Portable Workshop's router table allows the router to be tilted to get the most out of the bits and do all kinds of router projects. I can also change the panel in a matter of seconds to use other kinds of routers!

I just posted the last video about the improvements I've made to the Portable Workshop. I'll show everything this versatile homemade tool can do with some practical examples. This is an animation of the 3D Sketchup model included in the plans available on my website.

The lift system for the Portable Workshop's router table also allows me to mount a drill. This makes it possible to use certain drill accessories such as sanding drums, which are useful when sanding curved workpieces!

A small clip of the latest video I posted on my YouTube channel, where you can see how I made the spindle mount for the Makita router. A simple method that will allow you to attach this versatile router to any work table.

Another snippet of the latest video on my channel, where you can see how I improved the accuracy of the lifting system of the router table by installing an aluminum miter channel.
