Reducing stock from 3/4" to 1/2"?

I just purchased the plans for the portable workshop, and am looking forward to getting started. I was wondering if there would be a significant stability issue if I went with 1/2" plywood (9mm) vs the recommended 3/4" (18mm)? I've got plenty of enthusiasm, but not much real-world experience (I've built some shelves, workbenches, etc), so I'm looking for guidance.

Hi Zadzagy,

You better go with 18mm. 9mm won't work. It would be so unstable.
