Table saw fence moving

Post by Suso » Mon Jul 17, 2017 12:34 pm

hi Ben,
I just re-read the whole topic and you're right, I mean it's cut too big! It seems that you have very clear how the fence tightening mechanism works.
I like your ideas, I think both can help solve these fence tightening problems.

I think you can try first to make the lower part of the piece34 length bigger, I think this may be enough. Could you upload some pics with your progress?

I' will definitly!..

where should I upload them to?
Oh and also the pics will be of current state before the changes to the tightning mechanism because I will only have time to work on it again in the weekend .. ( I have a new born baby and barely have time to work on the saw..)

plus, you'll see that I built a temporrary cross cut sled just so I can use the saw already for the build process itself.
