Workshop made cuts off by 1-2mm

Post by henricus » Sat Jan 14, 2017 11:56 am

I'm a beginner and really liked this project to give me a great set of tools to get going.

Followed the advice on this forum and asked for the shop where I got the plywood to cut it according to the cutting list.
Unfortunately most cuts are 1 or 2mm short of the intended size... will this still work or will I struggle to the get everything to fit?
They also refused to do the smaller cuts and I'm struggling to do them with my circular saw... any way around this?

Thanks a lot for your amazing project

hi Henrique,
you should not have problems if it is only 1 or 2mm, maybe you just have to adapt some pieces to the new dimensions.
regarding the small pieces, you can cut them with the jig saw and the circular saw, be careful because cutting small parts can be dangerous.
you can also start by assembling the circular saw to the top in order to cut those small pieces.
