Mickey's Portable Workshop Build

Post by mickey1 » Thu Aug 03, 2017 6:10 pm

Going to be starting my workshop build early next week, so thought I would start a thread for any questions I may have.
One thing I am not sure from the parts list is what is meant by "Allen Flat Head"?
Is it a bolt like this:
http://www.premiermotorsportdevelopments.co.uk/ekmps/shops/craigdriscoll/images/m5-stainless-steel-dome-head-bolts-12-16mm-pack-of-10-286-p.jpg
or a bolt like this:

Sorry for inconvenience of questions.
Plans are really great by the way.
thanks
Mickey

Edit:
Actually I've realised this should maybe be in the workshop showcase section sorry.
Feel free to move.

hi Michael,
is the second screw that you have linked, it is a screw with flat head.
Inside the folder called "cutting list", you will find a Pdf file called "fasteners cheat sheet" where you will find examples of several bolts with their names.
I look forward to seeing your first pics soon! Let me know if you still have problems...

Suso - can I ask where you get those nice countersinks you have?
Mine suck and I want to order some new ones, but don't know which brand or make to look for.
thanks
Mike

hi Michael,
here you can find it:

If you are going to use it only for wood, any one will serve you. If you have in mind use it also for metals better buy one of quality.
