Hello,
Would it be a good idea to replace those HPL guide by bearings ? if so which ones ?
also, on the fastener list, you specify ZZ bearing for the guides, why not RS (to protect from dust)
Are the 6204 bearing (supporting shaft) RS ?
Thanks

Re: bearing in place of the blade guide
hi mate,
I have not had problems with the 6204 bearing in the shaft, but if you wish you can install a RS one. For the guides it's better to have a sealed or RS bearing. Regarding the material, HPL works perfectly and it's a matter of preferences. Bearings make more noise when working, but both methods are valid.

Re: bearing in place of the blade guide
would you consider those for the shaft ?
they are self aligning, allowing the shaft to rotate a little bit if everything isn't perfectly at 90 degrees.

thanks for taking the time to answer !
