I was looking at the plans but is anyone able to say how many sheets of 4'x8' or (1220mm x 2440mm) this bench takes to build? Trying to figure out cost of materials before I just start it.
Thanks

Hi,
I had the idea to rotate the router fence 90° which would allow a much longer router fence and hence makes it easier to work with long workpieces.

Why did you choose to position it like you did Suso? The only disadvantage of my approach would be that the fence of the table saw can't be used anymore to measure distance. But this could easily be compensated by adding a small measuring tape into the table top.

Can anyone recommend a reasonably affordable router for the table (US)?

Forums won’t let me search for the word “router” so if there is a thread out there on this I couldn’t find it but would welcome a pointer.

I want to be able to run a 1/2” collect. In a perfect world speed could be easily adjusted. Bonus for suggesting a router life to go with it.

Im assuming most aren’t using trim routers and find routers better setup for a table like this?
