hi jboyer5774, have you seen this article?

At first glance it seems that you will only have to lower the midrails a little to get the 352.5mm, and lengthen the horizontal rails to get the 778mm gap. I explain how to do it in the article.

Another consideration is the movement of the fence rails to the left, they can hit the sliding carriage. If they move a short distance to the left, it can be solved as I indicate in this article.

SawStop CTS Progress (I'll post a full build when complete). FYI, I went with 300mm for the lower 7A support (two posts up). That turned out to be _almost_ perfect for 18mm plywood tops. One corner is perfect, the other 3 the saw is 1mm low which is good because it's easier to shim up the saw. Needless to say, my cuts are not perfect, at least a few 1/2mm mistakes.

If you're just doing the 18mm top, 300mm or 299mm probably will work out perfectly. I'll also detail later the 3d printed copies of the holders the stand uses that I plan on using to align and hold down the saw

I plan on adding formica laminate (+1mm) or more likely doing a sandwich of MDF and Phenolic plywood/MDF (+6 to 12mm). So while I could have lowered it 1-2mm more just to be safe, I think I'm good either way. Alternatively, on could plane/router/sand down the cross members under the saw platform to lower that platform 1mm.

However, I am excited to have gotten to the point that the saw is on the bench and usable.

One thing, I haven't quite decided is if the saw should be centered or pushed left or right. Advice? I am unclear how that would affect the sliding table. I'll recut the tops when I figure that out.

Also a note on the SawStop CTS: It seems to me like the back of the SawStop is also deliberately 1-2mm lower than the front. There is _one_ adjustable foot for the back left corner, but I'm basing this on the fixed feet (back middle, and front corners). My one truly level workbench I could set it on currently has 20 sheets of plywood lying on it so I don't have anywhere to check that easily.
hi jb510!

I love how you're adapting the design to that saw, it seems to be going well. I would center the saw in the gap, but I don't think it's a big dilemma, in your case I think any option is correct.

Thanks and yes. I’ve read the first article. Thank you for that.
I think what ill do is slide the rails right to maximize the right rip capability and avoid the sliding carriage.

Hi JB510, I just bought a CTS and the plans and I am super excited to see your forum posts. Other than changing 7A to 300mm and 7B accordingly, did you end up doing any other changes to Suso's plans? Other than the height, how does it fit depth and length wise? I particularly concerned of the fence having enough room to slide freely. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Cheers
