from the sliding carriage to the end of the router table there is 1250mm, so you should think about using the 1320mm profile. It's how I did it and you can see in the video.

I don't understand what you mean by "How much of the fence"

Thank you. You answered my questions, my wording was confusing. I was asking wheat length of the Axminister fence you ended up using.

I plan on starting my own topic, but the "New Topic" button seems to have disappeared on me...

Don't know about the other person, but I CAN see the "New Topic" button in the "Readers Project Showcase" section, but I do NOT see that "New Topic" button pretty much anywhere else. (Most notably, not in this "Mobile Workbench with Table Saw & Router Table" discussion area.)

This is what I could find online:

Dewalt 7492-QS Saw
Metric: 330mm H x 650mm W x 680mm D
Imperial: 13” H x 25 5/8” W x 26 3/4“ D

Sawstop Portable
Imperial: 14 1/4” H x 23 1/2” W x 27” D
Table Dimensions: 23” W x 22 5/8” D

The depth of the table itself with the lower part is 23 4/8) and there's still the accessories box where things are stored on the back that sticks out another half to 1 inch.

So from these, I need to lower the two support crossbars by 1 1/4"

It is also narrower by 2 1/8" which I'm not sure is that relevant.

The depth is only 1/4" which I wouldn't make changes, but this is using overall dimensions, I wonder how big the DeWalt table is.
Those are the dimensions Sawstop give for the Compact Table saw (14 ¼” H x 23 ½” W x 27” D) which translates to 361.95 mm (H) x 596.9 mm (W) x 685.8 mm (D).

Measuring my actual CTS from the bottom of the feet to the table surface is 358mm. I'm not sure what the missing 4mm is supposed to be. The feet don't seem adjustable. So the difference between the Dewalt 330mm and Sawstop CTS 358mm is 28mm (1.10" for those that can't visualize mm).

So I'm renaming half the 7B parts to 7A (lower), and then 7B (upper):
7A (lower) 330mm - 28mm = 302mm (11.9")
7B (upper) 330mm + 28mm = 358mm (14.1")

I'm wondering if that's good, or if I need to factor in some safety margin and make 7A 300mm and 7B 360mm? but also...

@Muanis - you wrote in your showcase that you cut "7A at 15" (381mm) but you thought that 15 3/8" (390mm) would have been perfect". Maybe that's more than an inch off from what I'm calling 7B and either way it seems WAY off from what I'm thinking and has me worried.

hi jb510, the fact that the table saw doesn't have the exact dimensions stated in the specifications doesn't surprise me. It happened to me on some occasions. Taking this into account, your calculations seem correct. These are the new dimensions for the pieces labelled 7A and 7B using this design in the same way I did. You may lower the mid rails by a couple of millimeters more and use cardboard spacers or something similar so that you have some distance for adjustments.

At any rate, after using this mobile workbench for a few years, I would try to come up with a system similar to what I did with my folding workstation, which you can see here. I would lower the mid rails as much as necessary so I can use this system and have a margin of adjustment to level the table saw top with the workbench table tops. I think you would only have to drill some holes on the frame of your saw and some other holes on the mid rails, where you can directly fasten four threaded rods. Both systems are valid.

SawStop CTS Progress (I'll post a full build when complete). FYI, I went with 300mm for the lower 7A support (two posts up). That turned out to be _almost_ perfect for 18mm plywood tops. One corner is perfect, the other 3 the saw is 1mm low which is good because it's easier to shim up the saw. Needless to say, my cuts are not perfect, at least a few 1/2mm mistakes.

If you're just doing the 18mm top, 300mm or 299mm probably will work out perfectly. I'll also detail later the 3d printed copies of the holders the stand uses that I plan on using to align and hold down the saw

I plan on adding formica laminate (+1mm) or more likely doing a sandwich of MDF and Phenolic plywood/MDF (+6 to 12mm). So while I could have lowered it 1-2mm more just to be safe, I think I'm good either way. Alternatively, on could plane/router/sand down the cross members under the saw platform to lower that platform 1mm.

However, I am excited to have gotten to the point that the saw is on the bench and usable.

One thing, I haven't quite decided is if the saw should be centered or pushed left or right. Advice? I am unclear how that would affect the sliding table. I'll recut the tops when I figure that out.

Also a note on the SawStop CTS: It seems to me like the back of the SawStop is also deliberately 1-2mm lower than the front. There is _one_ adjustable foot for the back left corner, but I'm basing this on the fixed feet (back middle, and front corners). My one truly level workbench I could set it on currently has 20 sheets of plywood lying on it so I don't have anywhere to check that easily.

Hello!
I'm new to the site here, but found your workbench videos on YouTube, which led me to your site, and to the from here.
I love your plans, and would like to purchase them, however I'm researching how much modification I'd need first. I scored a free Ryoby BT3100 table saw. The hight and depth (at least between the rails) are not much different, however the width is much wider.
When considering the width and depth, I do not need to include the rails correct? Just the working table top of the saw itself?
I measured on my Ryobi:
13.875" H (352.5mm)
22.25" D (565mm between the rails)
30.625" W (778mm)
The rails themselves are 41.25" (1047mm) are are movable left and right.

Here's a generic photo of the saw:

The router table insert is movable and my measurements included those plates collapsed in together.
