Hello Suso,
since routers similar to MakitaRT0700C are easily and cheap available, could install such router instead the tool with the Euro-neck?
What would I loose by doing so? Like having access to my standard drill?
Couldi easily swap from one tool family to the other?
Greetings
Bernd

hi Bernd,
yes, you will lose the ability to use a drill, but being able to use a more common router is an advantage. I don't see an easy way to swap the tools, sorry.

Hi Suso,
I came along the Trend T4 router, that has also an Euro-neck. Would that be a better/easier alternative instead the Makita clone?

hi begee1958,
both are equally good options, but the Euro-neck clamping system will allow you to swap your Trend for a drill.
