Here's my latest project, my homemade version of a portable mortiser, which will allow me to make tenon mortise joints in an easier and more convenient way using a handheld router. As you can see in this 3D model, the design will let me move the router along two axis using both hands to make the mortises.

I've finished the adjustable height fence and the drive handle to enable the X-axis movement of the portable mortiser.

I've finished machining and putting together these two pieces that will allow me to move the portable mortiser from left to right in order to cut the mortises!

Detailed pictures of the stool I made a few days ago with my new portable mortiser. I've used ash wood and red stained MDF for the seat. I think this kind of MDF is a highly versatile material!

Some of you requested the plans for the stool I made a few days ago with my new portable mortiser, and
here they are. I made plans for a low stool, and also plans for a bar stool using the same construction system.
