Steel 10mm OD 8mm ID tube

Hi there
Quick question,

Does it have to be steel tube for the bushes of some of the M8 screws (Y axis locks etc)?
Or can I use aluminium? Or carbon fibre? Can't find anything steel!

Hello, steel tube is very common and easy to find, recommend looking into supermarkets, not worth complicated! thanks
