Inserts, Tee Nuts, Pipe

In videos and photos I can see that you use both Threaded inserts and Tee Nuts. I do not see them specified separately in the plans.
Where do I use Threaded Inserts?
Where do I use Tee Nuts?

You better go with the threaded inserts always. But make sure you install it in the right way (opposite to the bolt) so it won't loosen when tightening the bolt.
