Do the plans include the ability for the saw to be tilted? The ability to make angled cut would be a plus for me.

Is the Makita 5103R suitable for this project? (270 mm diameter blade, 100 m cut depth).

Hi,

the saw itself is tiltable, so you don't need to make any mod if you are using a makita like mine.

The 5103R would is tiltable too and it will fit, but the 5903r will be enough for this project.
