Ask me about Homemade Router and Saw Table.

Hi Kevin,

I like the idea of jointer, in fact I already had that mod in mind.

About the riving knife, if I were you I woudn't remove it. It's always better to keep it safe if you can.

To square up the saw blade you better move the fence to the place where the blade goes and make a mark, then remove the fence and you got it. Anyway you'll be able to rectify it a little later play with the screws in both sides of the fence.

Do your plans included any kind of way to adjust the height of the circular saw blade?

Hello,

Can you give the brand and model number for the circular saw and router you used? I would like to read the specs for them and see if I would like to use them in my build

Thank you

Hola Suso.

Creo que se te ha dado la vuelta el 9.
El modelo de Makita es el 5903R no el 5603R

Hello,

I am very interesting to make by use your homemade router and saw table plan, i bought that plan! I still figuring out how to install circular saw once i complete the table? In the plan not really explain how to install circler saw. I bought new 7 1/4 circular saw from DeWalt.

Cant wait to start that project soon!

By the way, I am in canada so might be different than UK.

Hi,

you only have to adapt this milling to the dimensions of the base of your circular saw:

then you only have to use a few bolts to hold the CS to the table. You may also have to make drill holes in the base of your Cs if you don't have any.

Hey,

I just found you Page today, I'm seoursly impressed!
I started working with wood this year, have a pretty good geared garage ( tools )

But this Saw Table would be a perfect tool for it.

I've some questions before.
- What would you think is the total cost of the material I need ? +/-
- are their special tools important to have ?
- Is it possible to do it for a beginner? I dont want to buy done stuff, even if I didnt planed this one by myself but somewhere
I built it by myself.

Greetings from Germany
Klaus
