Is the sliding carriage moving without any stops, even though the linear bearings are placed from each other with spacings in between?
I always learned that the rail must be kept in at least two linear bearings to operate without any problems.
In that case how much travel does the sliding carriage have with this solution (what is the width of wood you can saw with this setup, measured from the front of the saw to the fence of the sliding carriage)?

hi mate, this is what Louis answered me:

Surge the same sliding table as the original design I get 599mm cut depth with a 560mm rail. But I also have another table top that I use with 800mm rails that gives me 750mm cut depth.

The table does have stops to prevent the top from sliding out. A block screwed on to the bottom of the table for the front stop and the small peg and grove for the back stop.

@Louis:
I think I'm going to order the sliding rails and lineair bearrings as well.... what size did you use?
I was looking for the SBR20 rails (I think that's 20mm) with SBR20UU lineair bearring blocks

Or did you use a smaller size?

this is what Louis answered me:

I used the 16mm ones. Two sets because you can't not get one pair of bearings per rail, I think you may run into space issues if you use the 20mm rails. The 16mm it's good enough and are quite rigid with very little flex on the table.

hi Wag71, thanks!

this is the original design, if you want changes like the ones in this post you must make them yourself.
