Is there a tutorial or guide to resize a plan in SketchUp?

Or any tips or tricks on how to go about it?

I am trying to resize the components, not sure if that is the most effective way and not having much success.

In SketchUp you will have to modify each affected piece, quite complicated if you don't have any knowledge. You can't scale the whole model because you're going to vary the thickness of the boards.
